Preserving access for LGBTQ+ medical and behavioral health care is essential. I am proud to be an advocate, ally and therapist in support of the LGBTQ+ community.

Work with a therapist you can trust.

Through my years of practice, I have helped numerous Transgender youth, young adults and their families. I am honored that clients have trusted me and felt secure to embrace their true identities. I also connect families and loved ones with their own separate resources where they can gain education and support.

Client’s struggle with gender dysphoria, depression, anxiety and even suicidal thoughts. I provide a safe supportive environment to provide therapy, while acknowledging the ignorance and judgment that they often face in the world. When a client chooses to transition, I connect them with gender affirming medical providers and any other community resources they may need.

"I first met Libby when she helped our son come to terms with his gender dysphoria. She had excellent advice in putting our family in touch with multiple resources, as our son transitioned more than 10 years ago. Libby's quiet, consistent, powerful counseling is a key reason our son is the successful young man he is today. Libby has so many excellent resources, and referred my husband and I to an equally wonderful marriage counselor. To this day, she helps me manage my anxiety through regular check-ins. Over the years, she has worked in concert with a psychiatrist when medication is needed, but always with the view that the right work in therapy can help most of us move on from medication. She has helped me uncover so much of what motivates who I am. She is both compassionate and practical, expresses empathy, and is relatable, sharing her personal experiences when relevant. Her professionalism, warmth, and non-judgmental attitude have created a safe and supportive environment, allowing our entire family to openly discuss our fears, doubts, and aspirations. Libby offers positive, insightful perspectives, and provides practical advice. She is part of creating a more inclusive, accepting environment for everyone."
